Deer Lake State Park is a newly improved park in Santa Rosa! The park is located at 6350 E. County Road 30-A in Santa Rosa. The park is open 8 a.m. – sundown, 365 days a year. The contact phone number is 850-267-8300. Entry is $3/vehicle of 2-8 passengers and $2 for pedestrians, bicyclists, and any passengers more than eight/vehicle. There is an honor box where you drop the correct change.
Coastal Dune Lakes in Deer Lake State Park
Florida is one of just two states in the U.S. and five total places around the world where coastal dunes are a natural geographic feature. Dune lakes are typically shallow, irregularly shaped permanent bodies of water that are brackish and dark-colored due a mix of both salt and freshwater sources that feed it. Rent a kayak, canoe, or paddleboard for some fun on the water, purchase a combo freshwater/saltwater fishing license, or just relax and enjoy the day on the shoreline. Deer Lake State Park is named after the lake within its boundaries.
Renovations
Since August of 2021, Deer Lake State Park has undergone several improvements. Arrive on a newly paved park access road, enjoy new picnic shelters, upgraded restroom facilities, and even connections to utilities for RVs.

The biggest draw to having a 30A rental is, of course, the beach. Spend time on the sand walking or running, sunbathing, building sand castles, and more.
