FOOW 30A, or Fish Out of Water, has what you need – when you need it. They’re open daily 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. in the WaterColor community along 30A. Breakfast
Start the day with the WaterColor French toast served with mixed berries bananas, and warm maple syrup or the WaterColor Omelet packed with baby arugula, tomatoes, and Swiss cheese. Fill up with the American Breakfast: eggs any style, then add bacon, ham, or sausage, stone-ground grits or breakfast potatoes, or a choice of house-made English muffin, biscuit, or toast. Go lighter with the classic sandwich – a house-made English muffin, scrambled eggs with cheddar, breakfast potatoes and your choice of ham, bacon, or sausage. Served 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Brunch-Ish
Choose avocado toasted, a veggie quinoa bowl filled with black beans, grilled corn, tomato, cucumber, and arugula with an apple cider vinaigrette served with salt crackers, or choose the smoked salmon toast – toasted sourdough, cream cheese spread, arugula, capers, pickled red onion, and chives. Choose the traditional Caesar salad or satisfy your seafood craving with shrimp and grits or a half-dozen oysters served with cocktail sauce and saltine crackers. Add a drink special like a mimosa, or Fish out of Water restaurant’s “Famous” Bloody Mary.
Handhelds
Go for a traditional loaded BLT with the added zing of Cajun aioli or try the Gulf fish sandwich with grilled or blackened fish on a brioche bun and topped with lemon-herb aioli, lettuce, tomato, red onion, and house-made pickles. “Dos Grouper Tacos” feature blackened grouper, avocado, cabbage, salsa, cilantro, and lime. Play it safe with the FOOW Burger cooked your way with Raines Farms Louisiana wagyu beef blend on a buttered brioche bun with garlic aioli, lettuce, tomato, onion, and house-made pickles.
